EpiGreen is dedicated to epidemiological and clinical research and expertise, supporting projects aimed at controlling major infectious diseases (HIV, malaria, tuberculosis, vector-borne diseases) and diseases with epidemic potential (Ebola, Covid-19, Mpox). Its scope also extends to major global issues such as antimicrobial resistance.

Based on the synergy between researchers and teacher-researchers from three key fields — human and veterinary epidemiology, humanities and social sciences, and data science — EpiGreen structures its approach around these complementary areas of expertise. This multidisciplinary approach guides the group's response to requests for collaboration, the design of innovative projects, and its internal organization.

One of its major strengths lies in its advanced expertise in data management and analysis, as well as modeling, incorporating the latest methods in machine learning and deep learning to address complex public health challenges.
